Milk Baths are one of my favorite sessions to photograph. With these sessions, I provide natural, minimalist images by utilizing negative white space to focus on your face and body. It can symbolize numerous things. For breastfeeding mamas, it symbolizes the hard work and energy we put into nourishing our babies. For women, it can symbolize our love for our bodies and the rollercoaster it was to get to the point of unconditional self-love. And for the little ones, it symbolizes a new milestone.
Real artists take chances and risks and they don’t worry about the repercussions or the correctness of things.

Cake Smash Photography
This fun and messy session is a great way of celebrating your or your kiddo's birthday. The session can be held at your home, outdoors, or in my studio. It includes a basic smash cake, simple backdrops/props, an online gallery, and 40 minutes of active photography time. There is an additional $50 fee for more elaborate cakes/props.

What time of day is the best time for photos?
It all depends on your little one. If they are on a sleep schedule I recommend scheduling your session accordingly.
Well-rested kids make for great participants!
What should we wear?
Portrait sessions are all about showcasing who you are at this point in your life. I'd stay away from a head-to-toe family uniform, though. The idea is to coordinate, not to match. Think in terms of complimentary color schemes.
I recommend shying away from strips, crazy patterns, and reflective material for outdoor sessions.
I would also caution against making your children wear something that makes them uncomfortable. Miserable might not be the way you want to remember your little one.
How long do the sessions last.
How long is the session?
Depending on what type of session it is, the longest sessions are definitely newborn sessions. Please plan for at least 2 hours or more. All other sessions are about 40 minutes long or sometimes less when babies do amazingly great.
Do you offer payment plans?
I do! Every payment plan is personalized to your budget.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
It is an option but not a guarantee. I will do my best. If you believe you need more shooting time please let me know at least 48 hours in advance.
What if I need to reschedule?
Portrait Sessions:
-Cancellations must be made 48hrs in advance of your session date. If no notice is given your session fee will be forfeited.
-Each client is allowed two rescheduling credits for their creative sessions. Any additional request to reschedule will incur a $50 rescheduling fee and must be paid immediately to reserve your new date.
-Rescheduling due to weather conditions will not count against your reschedule credits.
Weddings/Special Events:
You must cancel 90 days prior to your wedding/special event or all money paid prior to cancellation is forfeited.
Do I have to order prints through you?
Of course not! Your digital images come with complete printing rights. Although, the difference in quality is huge between the professional vendors I use and local printers.
When will my online gallery be available?
Typically 1-2 weeks after the session. Sometimes quicker, depending on the season.
However, for "My Baby's First Year Membership" you will receive your images a couple of hours after your session.
What if I lose my images?
There is a $50 replacement charge for additional downloads after the event has been archived. We strongly suggest you make at least one copy of the download when you receive it from us.
Galleries are typically achieved after a year.
Do you include outfits for our session?
I do have a minimal client closet at the moment, however, I am expanding it every day:
Newborn swaddles, outfits, accessories, and photo props.
Baby outfits for babies from 3 to 9 months for My Baby's First Year Memberships.
First-year dresses, outfits for Cake Smash session, headbands, and crowns. I have diaper covers, suspenders, bowties, and hats for boys.
For maternity sessions, I do not provide outfits. I want you to feel your best with clothes that make YOU feel comfortable and beautiful.
How long is the shoot?
Milk Bath/Cake Smash sessions are 40 minutes of active shooting time. However, if the session is being held at your home allow up to 20 minutes before and after the session for set up.
I recommend anticipating an hour and a half shooting time.
